Hope Connection” is a New York City Disaster and Relief Crisis
Helpline (718) 238-4600
Tuesday, September 11,
2001 will be a day that will be remembered as the day we lost
our innocence. It was a day when the world came crashing down
on us, giving us no time to think or move. Our City, and the
Nation, will never be the same again. Thousands of lives were
lost, and families are in mourning for lost loved ones.
Christian Hope Network
extends its deepest sympathy to those who have suffered a
loss, and our prayers are going forth, trusting that God, in
His love and mercy, will comfort all those who mourn. Our
trust is in Him, and He is still in control. We will rise up
again and rebuild our lives and our city. We will stand
together holding hands across this city and nation, with God
as our Head. Never before in the history of our nation, have
we faced such a crisis. But together we will face it, head on,
and go forward.
Our crisis helpline, “The
Hope Connection,” (718) 238-4600 has been listed with the Red
Cross, St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Bellevue Hospital,
Rutgers University at NJ Serves on the Internet, and many
other places of rescue. Our volunteers are here for you from
the hours of 6:00 AM to Midnight to offer a listening ear,
encouragement and hope, prayer, and important referrals and
hotlines.
If you need to talk to
someone, please call. We are here for you! (718) 238-4600
