“And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace. Who bring glad tidings of good things!’” (Rom. 10:15)

March 2010

Dear Friend,

Trusting that all is well with you, and your loved ones. We are fine, and praising God for expanding our territory! This is proving to be a wonderful year of ministry! Our Hope Connection and God TV prayer lines are ringing off the hook with people who want to know about Jesus. What an awesome privilege it is to be able to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people all around the world by phone! People from all walks of life, and all different religions are calling to find out Who Jesus is. Our greatest joy is to lead a person who is in bondage to false religions and lives of deliberate sin to the freedom of the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ! Glory! Thank you to all of our partners who make this possible! You will share the reward in heaven through your giving! Thank you to all who are so faithful to pray for the people listed in our Watchman Battalion! Answers to prayer are coming in every day! You are making a difference!

This month, we are preparing to commemorate the life, death and Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This is a time to fast, to pray, and to reflect upon all that He has done for us. Those of us who have heard the Gospel and received it, and accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior have so much to be grateful for! Each month, you receive our newsletter. Many of you have been with us since we started over 20 years ago. Think of all the thousands of people you have prayed for! You will surely see these people in heaven, and those who accepted salvation in Jesus Christ will be there to give you a tremendous hug! What joy there will be in that reunion! When I think of it, all I can do is cry. We really have no idea in regard to the lives that are changed through our obedience!

God has called each of us to be ministers. Some are called for the Office of a Minister and receive Ordination after years of study and showing themselves approved by God. However, every person is called to minister. When we receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, it is the beginning of a lifetime of learning and growing, and following the command of Jesus to go forth and spread the gospel to all nations. “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned.” (Mark 16:15,16) We wonder how we will ever do this! It is a huge command! My friend, there is a way! We begin

right where we are! We start with our loved ones, then with neighbors, and then to our city, etc. I know, we all have those relatives who will not listen. But... there is a way for them to listen, and that is by showing who Jesus is by our love. When we love others, and encourage them, and when we are there for them in times of trouble, that shows unbelievers a powerful statement! If someone is hungry, give them food. If someone needs something at the store and is not able to get out, shop for them. If someone needs a car ride to the doctor; take them. If someone is going through a really tough time; listen... if someone will accept a prayer; pray... if someone is reaching out for help; be that person to help. Let us not be timid in inviting the lost to come to church! What can they say? No? At least we asked! When a person feels comfortable with us, we can then take the next step and talk about the hope that we have in Jesus, and how He changed our lives. When family, or others see that change in us; it will spark interest!

As we approach commemorating the life, death and Resurrection of Jesus, let us take this time to spend alone with Him. Some people find starting the day earlier is best for them to get before Him, read the Bible and pray. Others, like myself, find the evening hours the best. I love at the end of the day to put aside my evenings to talk to my Father and discuss the day, and the things that are on my mind. Almost 4 years ago I gave up watching TV. I allow myself to watch the news once or twice a day if something serious is going on, and God TV, if there is something that will bring me closer to the Throne.  Most nights I just read my Bible and pray. I value that time, and I am jealous for it! Whatever works for you is wonderful! Just do it! Spend time with Jesus, and ask Him to equip you for ministry. Ask Him to give you people to talk to about Him. Ask Him to give you His Holy Spirit anointing and words for when the time comes, and He will give it!  When I was a young Christian, and praying every day for God to give me opportunities to minister salvation, He would surprise me in such unexpected ways. I would be at a party, with people talking around the table, and suddenly someone would ask what they thought of the Bible, or what they heard concerning Jesus. I would say my 2 second prayer and then the words would come out. Afterwards, I was amazed at what transpired because I am basically very shy, and quiet. Shhhh,,, don’t tell anyone! (Smile) But what He does for me, He will do for you! After all, it is His Gospel, and He wants ALL to be saved! The next time you are with people, ask Jesus to take over and have His way. You are called to be a minister in your home, your school, your job, your grocery shopping, and wherever you go. Ask for Holy Spirit wisdom and boldness! With Resurrection Sunday coming up next month, this really opens the door right now! Let us pray:

Father, in Jesus Mighty and Precious Name, we come before You and worship You and give You praise and Honor. We thank You for sending Your beloved Son Jesus Christ to live among us and die for us so that we can be saved. We thank You for the Cross Lord. In Jesus Name, I lift this reader up to You and I place him or her into Your Loving Arms. Father, it is Your will for this person to be a minister of Your Gospel wherever he or she goes. I ask You now to give this person, Your Anointing, Your wisdom, Your knowledge, Your understanding, and Holy Spirit Boldness to speak forth Your Words of salvation, healing and deliverance. We join together now to boldly ask for souls! We want everyone we speak to be saved Lord! Use us Lord for Your honor and Glory. Amen!

God bless you!
