Christian Hope Network Volunteers

 Christian Hope Network is blessed with a wonderful team of 55 volunteers, and it is a privilege to have the opportunity to work with each one. These seasoned saints give of their time, talents and resources as together, we strive to be a blessing to our community and to the world.

Each volunteer has a special place in this ministry.

6. Instructor for our ongoing training to equip our volunteers for evangelism and prayer ministry.

7. Coordinator for our Senior to Senior Outreach Ministries.

8. Our Crisis/Prayer Helpline “The Hope Connection” Prayer Partners.

9. Senior to Senior “Care Call” workers.

10.  Ministries Coordinator for mailing literature and referrals to our callers.

11. Guild for Exceptional Children, who work tirelessly to put our monthly mailing together.

12. Tract Evangelists - Distribute tracts in our community.

13. Day to Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem workers who call churches, bookstores, and the media throughout NY to inform them of the Day to Pray, the first Sunday of every October. See www.daytopray.com

14. Our wonderful volunteer web designer who created our web site, and updates our page each month.

More of what we do:

1. We are a member of "Mission New York” where pastors and leaders come together monthly to join in one accord, praying for our city, and our land. We participate each year in Pray NY, joining with hundreds of churches walking the streets of our neighborhood praying blessings to people, homes, businesses, schools, churches, etc.

2. We are a member of the Bay Ridge Coalition for Seniors, working to bring hope, resources, and encouragement to our senior population.

3. We work with our community leaders to coordinate a free Thanksgiving Day Dinner for seniors, which includes a wonderful dinner in Xaverian High School, bus transportation, and dinners delivered to the homebound.

4. We help support CHN of Kenya as they do the same work there. We give support for school tuition for two of the children, and food for the orphanage. 

5. Rev.Dr.  Barbara Anne Yovino also works with  Robert Stearns of Eagleswings ministry working as the New York State Coordinator for The Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem which takes place the first Sunday of October every year.

6. Christian Hope Network was privileged to work with the NYC Billy Graham Crusade in 2005. Our Online intercessors  prayed during the months before the Crusade for the efforts of the Crusade, as well as the Staff prayer requests. Our volunteers  were privileged to do the Crusade follow-up by calling those who received the Lord, to encourage them and offer support. Our ministry was mentioned in the June 2005 issue of Decision Magazine.
